Industrial Flex Connectors are designed to handle high temperature, high pressure or vacuum, high material laded airstream or aggressive chemicals that are present in an airstream.

In specifying flex duct connectors for an air system, consideration must be given to:

• Axial, transverse and torsional movement – Must know this information if extreme. Standard lateral and axial displacement is +/- 0.5 inch.
• The temperature of the airstream – Flex material selection is based on temperature, with EPDM with Nylon insert @ 275° F a base standard.
• Pressure-vacuum design to +/- 80 inches WG is our standard.
• Noise levels – Connectors are a point of breakout noise.
• Abrasive nature of particulate in the airstream – Optional interior metal liner may be required.
• Corrosive nature of the airstream – Determines metal selection for the connector flanges, flex material, and liner if required.

The Flexible Duct Connector is a kind of anti-fire cloth and punching metal sheet, which is made by folding and pressing, with good air tightness, easy folding of metal sheet, convenient installation and quick installation. It is a new type of shockproof product connected with ventilating pipe and fan.

Main use:

Suitable for all kinds of fan entrance shock-proof soft joint. Isolation of sound and vibration from the source, double lock seam jointed duct flexible connector fabric is used which is fixed to galvanized steel sheet metal on either side. The end of the galvanized steel sheet metal is anchored with the equipment and the other end is anchored with the duct work. It is recommended that larger fabric widths be used for better results in vibration isolation thereby preventing metal to metal contact.
